Professor Rex Li is a pioneering educator of the gifted and a psychologist from Hong Kong. He is chairman of G.T. Education Foundation. He is Chief Editor of Research MI and John Dewey’s Selected Works and author of many scholarly works. Professor Wu-Tien WU is Emeritus Professor of Special Education at Taiwan Normal University, Honorable Life-long Chair Professor of Pingtung University, and Distinguished Professor of Lingnan Normal University. Professor WU is one of the pioneers of special education in Taiwan and a renowned educator in gifted education. He has been the leader for numerous professional organizations including the founding president of the Chinese Association of Gifted Education, Taiwan.

Mehmet KARACA was the rector of Istanbul Technical University (ITU). He is a member of the Department of Geology and the Eurasia Institute of Earth Sciences at İstanbul Technical University and head of Climate and Marine Sciences Group at Eurasia Institute of Earth Sciences. His research field is on earth sciences particularly atmosphere and oceans related to climate change. He is also experienced on the establishment of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) techopark which is an entrepreneurship and innovation center aka ITU ARI-Teknokent.

Branton Shearer is a neuropsychologist who has taught about the creative and practical applications of multiple intelligences since 1990 at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He is the creator of the Multiple Intelligences Developmental Scales (MIDAS™ www.MIResearch.org) that have been translated into 12 languages and implemented by educators and researchers in more than 20 different countries. He is the founder of the American Educational Research Association Special Interest Group, Multiple Intelligences: Theory and Practice.

Mary Joy CANON-ABAQUIN is a pioneering educator and advocate for innovative practice and reform in education through the founding and heading of the Multiple Intelligence International School, a progressive international school with programs from preschool to high school (Prek-12). She was an instructor at the University of the Philippines, Psychology Department , a contributor/writer for various publications and a teacher trainor. Her efforts to pilot MI and Good Work have gained worldwide recognition at the 2010 Multiple Intelligence World Symposium in Beijing as a model for the international community.

M SRINIVASAN has established GEAR Foundation and GEAR Innovative International School which nurtured creativity and multiple intelligences. His vision for a school is one where children enjoyed the process of learning, with the philosophy to bring out the innate potential of each and every child. M SRINIVASAN was also awarded an honorary D. Litt by the Karnataka University for the pioneering and futuristic model of education that he has heralded in India.

Dr. Shelagh GALLAGHER is the current president of the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC). She is an eight-time winner of the NAGC Award for Exemplary Curriculum, and a contributing editor of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children’s Global Principles for Professional Learning in Gifted Education. She has publications on numerous topics, including curriculum, developmental and personality characteristics of gifted students, and equity in gifted education.

Dr. Thomas HOERR led schools for 37 years and is currently a Scholar In Residence at the University of Missouri-St. Louis where he teaches in the educational leadership program. He led the ISACS New Heads Network, founded and directed the Non-Profit Management Program at Washington University, and holds a Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. HOERR has received honorary doctorates from two universities and is the Emeritus Head of School of the New City School.

Dr. Thomas ARMSTRONG is an educator and executive director of the American Institute for Learning and Human Development. He presented workshops and keynotes for teachers around the world, and have written twenty books including six on the topic of multiple intelligences: Multiple Intelligences in the Classroom and The Multiple Intelligences of Reading and Writing (for K-12 educators). His professional interests have been primarily in five areas: multiple intelligences at the K-12 level, a social critique of the disability label attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), awakening the natural genius of children, understanding the twelve stages of the human lifespan, and advocating for the concept of neurodiversity.

Dr. SELÇUK began his academic career with degrees in Psychological Services in Education and Psychological Counseling and Guidance from Ankara University, followed by a doctorate from Hacettepe University. Dr. SELÇUK’s impact on educational reform is highlighted by his role as the chairman of the Board of Education (2003-2006), where he led the 2004 curriculum reform. Dr. SELÇUK’s expertise, particularly in the application of Multiple Intelligences theory in education, positions him as a visionary in redefining educational paradigms for the future.

Montserrat del POZO is a Spanish educator, author, and speaker who is known for her innovative approaches to teaching and learning. She has a strong focus on incorporating Howard GARDNER’s theory of Multiple Intelligences into her educational practice. The theory emphasizes that there are various ways in which people can be intelligent and that traditional IQ tests only measure a narrow range of abilities.
